After studying Japanese independently, came to Japan on the Ministry of Education scholarship. Studied comparative culture and political science at Sophia University. Working in translation led to narrating commercials and TV programs.

Has appeared for over 10 years on Japan’s public broadcaster, NHK’s English educational programs as well as a wide variety of shows on their international channel seen in 160 countries and regions, NHK World, not to mention countless Japanese TV shows, commercials, movies, video games and entertainment events.

A voice that everyone in Japan has heard at least once over the past 17+ years.
